Prostitución

Loitering with the intent to commit prostitution, solicitation, and prostitution are some of the charges that may be leveled against an individual suspected of prostitution. Prostitution is defined as “any lewd act between persons for money or other consideration.” Criminal charges may be brought against the alleged prostitute, the customer, as well as a person supervising or aiding.

The penalty for a first prostitution conviction is usually relatively minor, but the penalty increases with each subsequent conviction.
